Welcome to the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, MD for the 2023 Spring Invitational Regatta. We are situated on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland, racing on the Tred Avon and Choptank Rivers.  We welcome the Comet (Sat only), Penguin (Sat only) and 2.4mR classes to race over the 28-30 April weekend. 


The 2.4m's are racing on Friday followed by our weekly Ales and Tales Pub style dinner Friday evening. Racing starts again Saturday with Penguins, Comets, and 2.4mR classes, followed by light hors d'oeuves and Awards for the Penguins and Comets.  There is no food serice at the club after racing Saturday, but the 2.4mR class will get together offsite.

 

The 2.4mR class will finish the weekend's racing on Sunday with awards and light hors d'oeuves after racing. There will be a Continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday Mornings, as well as light hors d'oeuves at Saturday and Sunday's awards. There is a cash bar all weekend.

 

We have blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Easton, MD - about 20 minutes away. Please use the link in the Housing to contact the hotel. There are other hotels and B&B's in the area, but the HIE above has offered us a better rate. We are offering storage for any traveling boats, specifically the 2.4m class, before or after the regatta. For further information please contact Andrew Parish

Please be advised, the speed limit in Oxford begins a mile out of town and it is strictly enforced at 25MPH. The New Chief of Police would like to meet you, but not with a ticket in his hand!
