Jacob Terrell has filed for redress in response to Jason Blair abandoning the June 1 race for the Spinnaker Fleet. You are all parties to the Hearing. Attendance is not necessary.
Race 12 for Spinnaker Class on June 1, 2023 was abandoned by the RC.
Enacting 32.1.d is my official action/decision. As previously stated, while not the most favorable decision I think it’s the best to ensure the integrity of the series scoring and the fairness for all the competitors moving forward. Start and Finish line discrepancy with NOR/SI. PRO: Jason Blair. Scoring has not yet been updated.
Race 18 for Spinnaker Class on June 22, 2023 was abandoned by the RC.
After considerable thought I think it’s best to abandon the 6/22/2023 Thursday Night Series Race 1 of the Keelboat Spinnaker Fleet (Class 1) to ensure the integrity of the series scoring and the fairness for all the competitors moving forward. The race should have abandoned the race or called a general recall. PRO: Jeff Asher. Scoring has not yet been updated.
