Saturday Racing Cancelled

Due to the impending forecast - Cold front blowing in from the NW, winds 20-30 with higher gusts forecast. Temps dropping into the 40's with water temp hovering around 46.

Sunday Racing

Sunday racing will go on as planned with a possible amendment to the SI's to extend the cutoff for the Highlanders to 1400. There will be no skippers meeting on Sunday.

Saturday Night Dinner is scheduled as planned.

We have homemade Italian pasta with homemade Tiramisu.

Club hoist is available near the North launch ramp for boats under 4,000 lbs.

LODGING / TRANSPORTATION
1. Hotels: There are several chain hotel options at exits 33 and 36 (Mooresville, NC) off I-77. These are approximately 8-9 miles from the club.
2. Camping: Camping is welcome on the grounds of Lake Norman Yacht Club. Campers are invited to use the showers and restroom facilities. If coming by RV, there are no hookups and parking is at the main clubhouse parking lot.
3. Club rules DO NOT ALLOW PETS for non-members or open fires on the club grounds during club events or regatta weekends.
4. Airport: Charlotte International Airport (CLT) is located south of Lake Norman and is a 38-mile drive to Lake Norman Yacht Club (approximately 45-60 minutes).

DIRECTIONS
1. GPS: 297 Yacht Road, Mooresville, NC
2. From I-77 (northbound or southbound), take exit 35, Brawley School Road. Go WEST on Brawley School Road approximately 7 miles to the roundabout/traffic circle. Take the second exit off the roundabout to remain on Brawley School Road. Go about 0.5 miles from the roundabout. Turn left on Yacht Road. The entrance to Lake Norman Yacht Club is 0.9 miles on the left.
