Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of The Policy. The Policy applies to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to The Policy. If you disagree with any part of The Policy then you may not access the Service.
We respect your privacy. The information that we collect is used to provide you with a great user experience, and/or Club organizers with the entry details they need to process your registration (if you choose to register for anything through our site). The information we collect broadly falls in two categories: Information that you provide, and information collected automatically when you visit the site.
By logging in or creating an account you grant us access to your username, email, and profile picture (if you choose to upload one).
When you register for anything via The Service, we collect additional information as part of our registration process so that we can provide it to the Club organizer(s). This includes (but is not limited to) your email, phone number, name, date of birth, and information that is important for the organizer to have in case of an emergency. We only collect the information that you explicitly enter into the registration form, and it is exposed narrowly so that only you and the relevant event administrators can access that information.
We never store credit card or other sensitive payment information on our servers to reduce the risk of someone obtaining your information.
When you visit or make use of The Service we may collect some basic information automatically. For instance, we collect aggregate usage data that your visits and actions contribute to. This information is not associated to you personally in any way.
The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is a new, EU-wide privacy and data protection law. It calls for more granular privacy guardrails in an organization’s systems, more nuanced data protection agreements, and more consumer-friendly and detailed disclosures about an organization’s privacy and data protection practices.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), every data processing activity must rely on a legal basis. Clubspot data processing activities rely primarily on the first (of 6) approved legal bases: Consent of the data owner (you) to process your personal information.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), residents of the EU may exercise certain rights regarding their personal data (eg. "Right to be forgotten," right of data portability, etc). Clubspot fully supports and complies with these requests. If you would like to make a data subject access request, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
All data is stored in the United States of America, a EU-whitelisted locale for international data transfers.
If you have additional questions on everything Clubspot does to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation please contact us.
We reserve the right to share information that you provide to us with the relevant club and camp administrators. Administrators include the user who organized the camp or club on the Clubspot platform, as well as any other users that original organizer shares administrative access with.
The Services may contain links to other websites. If you choose to visit other websites we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies for those sites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace this Policy at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree that you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree to the new policy, please stop using the Service.
We make all reasonable efforts to protect whatever personal information you provide to us through your use of the Services. However, the internet is inherently insecure. In the event of a breach or any event that causes another party to obtain your personal information (even if that event is the result of our own actions) you hereby agree that we, Clubspot LLC, as well as the administrators of this site and our employees, assume no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any outcome or damages related to the release of that personal information.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at email@example.com.
