2024 RS Tera East Coast Championship

Welcome to the Event Page for the 2024 RS Tera East Coast Championship. If you have any questions regarding details of the event please reach out to Dave Perry at director@nehss.org.

There are three different classes to choose from: RS Tera PRO Fleet, RS Tera SPORT Fleet & RS Tera GREEN Fleet. All of the classes use the same hull, but use different sets of sails to compete. Descriptions to help which fleet to choose are shown below:

• RS Tera PRO Fleet: This is a GOLD Fleet Class that uses the slightly large full-batten Mylar version of the RS Tera sail. This fleet is intended for slightly larger advanced junior sailors.

• RS Tera SPORT Fleet: This is a GOLD Fleet Class that uses the smaller reefable dacron version of the RS Tera sail. This fleet is intended for slightly smaller advanced junior sailors.

• RS Tera GREEN Fleet: This is a BEGINNER Fleet Class that uses the smaller reefable dacron version of the RS Tera sail. This fleet is intended for less experienced sailors that are looking for a great introduction into sailboat racing. No race experience is required and the emphasis on the GREEN Fleet course is always fun first!

A limited number of charter boats will be available for this event. Please reach out to Dave Perry at director@nehss.org if you are interested in chartering an RS Tera from the Northeast Harbor Sailing School before registering.
