2025 CFJ National Championship

Greetings National Championship Teams, 

We are excited to welcome everyone to the CFJ National Championship Regatta hosted at Newport Harbor Yacht Club. This is a big crowd for the NHYC grounds, with that said NHYC is a private Yacht Club dedicated to its members first. In the Corinthian spirit, please respect the private club areas and work together to make sure the event goes off smoothly. 

Upon Arrival

Coaches

-Coach Boat Launching: No Coach Boat Launching at NHYC. Our boatyard will be too congested with the CFJ fleet. Please use LIYC, BYC or BCYC’s launching facilities. 

-Coach Boat Berthing: Coach boats will be allowed on the NHYC docks from Thursday evening through Saturday. All boats must be off the docks by Sunday after racing.

Competitors/Parents

-CFJ Trailers: Upon arrival pull into the members only parking lot and drive toward the back. Volunteers will be there to assist. Unhook and then park your vehicle along the street.

-Guest Parking: NHYC parking lot is Members Only. Street parking is first come first serve. 

On the Grounds at NHYC

-Sailors No Sailors inside the clubhouse or on the Upper Deck. These are private club areas.

-No Dogs allowed on the NHYC premises including the boatyard.

-Parents are welcome to dine at NHYC (It is encouraged to make reservations in advance) Contact the Front Desk here: 949.673.7730 or frontdesk@nhycstaff.org 

-Bathrooms Bathrooms are located on the Sailing Patio. Sailors please do not use the bathrooms inside the Yacht Club.

-Trash cans will be located throughout the boatyard. PLEASE clean up after yourselves leaving the club as clean as you arrived!

Sailor Bagged Lunches are available for pre order purchase below. You will pick up your preordered lunches daily on the Sailing Patio prior to racing. Unclaimed preorder lunches we not be refunded.
