2023 US Sailing Area B Sears Cup Qualifier

In 1921, Commodore Herbert M. Sears of the Eastern Yacht Club at Marblehead, MA placed in competition a Cup bearing his name for competition among juniors of Massachusetts yacht clubs. The next year eligibility broadened to include clubs such as Larchmont and Seawanhaka Corinthian on Long Island Sound and Cedarhurst on the south shore of Long Island, NY.
The WaterFront Center in Oyster Bay, NY is proud to host the US Sailing Area B Sears Cup Championship that is the area qualifier for the 2023 Chubb US Junior Championships in Seabrook, Texas in August. At the Area B Sears Cup Qualifier, sailors race in Sonars provided by The WaterFront Center to ensure the quality of the equipment and a level playing field.
This is a great event for Junior Sailors to compete against the best sailors in their region without having to travel too far. Be sure to put this year's Area Championship Qualifier on your summer sailing schedule! See you on Wednesday, July 5th!
Registration has been EXTENDED TO JULY 4th at 12 noon.
Entry fee remains at $350 boat (without late fee).
US Sailing membership can be vailidated during this registration process.
