Wednesday May 14th – Thank you – Awards Ceremony Pictures - T-Shirt Update

• We keep getting emails and messages saying it was a great regatta – and it was! – Thank You.
• More pictures in the Photo album of the awards ceremony and race day – if you have more, send them our way, we'll add them to the album!
• T-Shirts Update : UPS and Coolibar (the supplier of the t-shirts) have declared the package lost, and will be making new T-shirts to replace those lost – if you have not received a T-Shirt (and haven't written to us yet) write to racecommittee@miamiyachtclub.com (subject line should include the word 't-shirt') and tell us what size you wanted for your registration shirt.

  • Some T-shirts arrived, and were handed to the attendees at the party
  • Some T-shirts are still lost, UPS has opened an investigation
    • We are emailing folks who have requested their T-shirts mailed out, or who have not received their shirts yet. If you have not received a t-shirt and have not received an email please email racecommittee@miamiyachtclub.com - include 't-shirt' in the email subject. 
    • It's a mess – not of our making, but we're doing what we can to sort it out. Thank you for keeping your good humour about this.

Monday 28th April – Racing Complete – Pictures & Videos – Protests

Hope you had an amazing weekend on the water!

• Protest Hearings for Saturday and Sunday will be held on Thursday May 1st at 7pm – see the amended Sailing Instructions for details.

Sunday 20th April – Sailing Instructions Posted - Fantastic Forecast – Beach Catamarans Ramp

We have updated the Sailing Instructions to clarify many frequently asked questions. Not much has changed, but hopefully things are a bit more clear, and readable. Any questions, reach out to racecommittee@miamiyachtclub.com 

The forecast looks perfect. Get some friends to register. Wind in knots, temp in Celsius. Gentle wind, sun, warm.

For beach catamarans 

• Ramp operators know we are coming
• Costs are
  • $50 to use the ramp – if you use it Saturday, then Sunday is included
  • $40 to overnight
  • So boats staying overnight $50+40
  • When you pull out of the ramp, you'll be given a red ticket – pay at the shop
• Ramp operators ask that we minimize time standing by the ramp – pull out, get the boat to the road, to the boat park
• There will be cones to mark areas for us – for wheels, etc
• If you are sailing from MYC, we'll be running a volunteer trailer to get wheels there on Saturday, and back on Sunday – coordinate with Martin +16178389503
