SERIOUS FUN IS BACK. 

Mission Bay was once the epicenter of U.S. Snipe sailing—a legendary hub that three-time World Champion Earl Elms called home, and where the infamous GFU Regatta was born. But why keep listening to stories about "the good old days"? We are bringing back SERIOUS SAILING and SERIOUS FUN to San Diego's Snipe Fleet.

Registration Reminders:

1. Complete Online Registration:
Ensure your online registration and payment are finalized by July 30, 2025. No registrations accepted after this date.

2. Early Entry Discount:
Early entry fee ($50) deadline is June 30, 2025. After this, the fee increases to $75.

3. Borrowed Boat Requirements:

• Entry fee must be paid, and your boat request form completed.

• $40 SCIRA Borrowed Boat Insurance is mandatory. Purchase via snipeusa.com/charter-boat-insurance.

4. SCIRA Membership:
Skipper and crew must have active SCIRA memberships for 2025. Renew at snipeusa.com.

5. Age Eligibility:
Competitors must be under the age of 31 for the entire year 2025. Junior teams must have both skipper and crew under 22 by the end of 2026.

6. Sails Requirement:
All teams must bring their own sails

7. Competitor’s Meeting:
Mandatory competitor’s meeting at 10:30 on Saturday, August 2.

BORROWED BOAT REQUESTS

- Must be REGISTERED with entry fee PAID

- MUST HAVE THIS boat request form filled out.

- Once entry and request have been confirmed, boat borrowers MUST purchase $40 boat insurance through SCIRA
