Junior Sailing Regatta on the Connecticut River on July 31, 2022.
Fleets will include Opti/Pram Green, Opti R/W/B, O'pen Skiff, ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) and 420 Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker divisions.
Cookout afterwards for sailors and families included in entry fee for sailors.
We will be running a Clean Regatta. Please read NOR and Sailing Instructions prior to coming to the regatta. We will have these posted at the club but will not be providing individual copies for sailors. Also, we will have water dispensers available for sailors for re-fills, so don't forget to bring your re-useable water bottle with you. Please do not drink the water from the bathrooms, that water comes straight from the river.
We are down a narrow, dirt road. Please drive slowly and use pull outs to pass oncoming traffic where necesssary. Only pull off on turnouts, shoulder of road is narrow and may drop off unexpectedly in the underbruh on the sides. Parking will be tight, we will have volunteers to direct you to the best places to park, so once you arrive at the club, please follow their directions so we may have room for both boats and cars.
No dogs allowed at the club during the regatta, per club rules.
Much of the racing will be able to be viewed from the docks and shore at the club house. If you will be bringing your own boat, you are required to stay off the race course. You may only speak with with your sailor between races, no communication during the race. Be respectful and leave no wake when you are near the course and our docks.
Our docks will be used for coach boats and sailboats only. You may come to the dock to drop off/pick up passengers, but you may not tie up on the docks. Please plan accordingly as you may need to anchor yourself for part of the day.
