2025 O'Pen Skiff Intergalactic Rhode Island Un'Regatta

This is a fun event for youth sailors in a loosely competitive style, in dynamic youth boats. Results are not nearly as important as everyone having a good time sailing. It is our goal that the sailors improve their skills, make new friends, exhibit first-class sportsmanship, and have a ton of fun. This event will be a combination of “conventional” style race formats with unorthodox “Un-Regatta” style courses and events. Don’t expect conventional windward-leeward racing or upwind starts for all races. Capsizes, boat handling challenges, speed, and fun will be required. 

Food: The entry fee includes regatta shirt and after-racing snack. Please bring your own lunch and water bottle. 

Charter Boats: As of July 29, all charter boats are SOLD OUT. This is a bring-your-own boat event, but a limited number of Charter Boats are available from O’pen Skiff USA on a first come/first serve basis. Charter boats must be reserved via the ClubSpot regatta registration page. All boats come complete and ready to sail and have fun, with the One Design 4.5m sail. Charter reservations will have final confirmation only when charter fee is paid, and the sailor is registered for the event. Here are the reservation options: Charter complete O’pen Skiff Intergalactics - $20. 

Purchase brand new O’pen Skiff, delivered to Bristol Yacht Club for the event, for $2,999. Purchase charter boat O’pen Skiff, after the event, for $2,600.
