Since 1970 the Geneva Lake Sailing School has hosted the X-Invitational & Dinghy Fest Regatta the second week of July. More X Boats gather on the starting line of the GLSS X-Invitational than any other regatta, a product of combining the Jr. & Sr. fleets. This makes for some incredible racing on the beautiful waters of Lake Geneva. The X Boats race August 10-11 (Mon-Tues).
In 2020 we will offer two full days of competition for our Melges 14 and Optimist racers on August 12-13 (Wed-Thu). The Melges fleet will sail and olympic trapezoid, the Optimists, Red-White -Blue fleet will test their skills on an International Optimist Course, there will be no separate Green Fleet course this year.
