Pre-Law Trophy CLINIC (Clinic only)

IHYC is hosting a high-level clinic for JSA of LIS sailors in the C420, Laser and Feva classes.  This event will occur the Sunday before the Commodore Law Trophy Regatta (6/30 - 7/11).

• C420/ILCA Classes: This all-day clinic is open to all JSA sailors that qualify and register for the Commodore Law Trophy Regatta in the C420 and Laser fleets.
• RS Feva Class: This all-day clinic is open to RS Fevas. NOTE: 5 Fevas must be registered for the Regatta to have a start at Law Trophy.
• The coaches recruited for these all-day sessions are of the top coaches in the nation.

WHAT YOU GET OUT OF THIS CLINIC:

The Law Trophy Regatta is the first major regatta for JSA of LIS Sailors. We encourage sailors to bring their boats to IHYC a day ahead of the Regatta, registering and participating in this clinic.  Top national coaches in these classes will run separate clinics for each class, supported by highly accomplished coaches from surrounding JSA LIS programs.

Fine tune your rigging with top coaches, learn from the best.  We hope you take away nuggets of wisdom from these incredible coaches that directly impacts your performance for the Regatta, and resonates with you this summer. 

CLINIC DETAILS:

• Boat Drop Off: IHYC East Property Saturday afternoon on your own or starting at 8am Sunday. 
  • Boats are welcome Saturday, but there may not be much support to receive them.  Please email Sailing@indianharboryc.com and leave on East Prop Lawn on a dolly in designated area. 
• Session Begins: 9:30AM - BE RIGGED AND READY by 9:30AM (C420s/Fevas with masts up, Lasers fully rigged)
• Session Ends: 4:00PM
• Food:
  • Grab n Go breakfast will be available, like bars and yogurts.
  • Lunch is not included, please pack lunch and water bottle for lunch on the water.
  • Pizza: There will be a derigging pizza party served at 3:30 during wrap up/lawn games until pick up.
• Suggested Gear: All JSA and/or Class compliant gear required is mandatory, such as, personal water bottle, tow line, PFD w whistle, etc.
