The Vivian K. Dooren Jr. Powder Puff Regatta is an all girls regatta hosted by the Metedeconk River Yacht Club, located in Brick, New Jersey. The race courses are spread throughout the beautiful Metedeconk River.  The regatta is open to International Optimist Dinghies skippered by girls 8 to 15 years of age at the time of the first race and also Club 420's, Laser Radials, Laser 4.7’s, RSFevas and Sunfish, skippered/crewed by girls who have not reached their 19th birthday, in the calendar year.

 

Opti fleets: First year racers compete in Green Fleet, 10 year olds (White Fleet), 11 and 12 year olds (Blue Fleet) and 13, 14 and 15 year olds (Red Fleet).
