2023 US Snipe National Championship

For planning purposes, please observe the following schedule:
- Late fee is applied and no T-shirts if registration is after June 1 - please register ASAP!
- Measurement and check-in is on Monday, June 26 starting at 10am to 4pm (late measurement will be on Tuesday morning before racing by appointment only)
- Registration closes at the end of the day on June 26.
- Racing is Tuesday June 27 - Saturday July 1.
- Tent camping is available on-site. Please sign waiver at check-in
- Fleets will be split into Heinzerling & Wells fleets if we receive more than 50 registrants
- "Wells ONLY" Category has been added to encourage less experienced sailors who are unable to compete in the entire regatta.

Note: The skipper AND crew must be members of SCIRA to register. Clubspot will check this during the registration process. If you are not currently a member, please go to USA Snipe page to join the class before you attempt to register as it will make the registration process much smoother. Tentative Social Schedule:
Monday, June 26: No social planned (light snacks and cash bar at SSC)
Tuesday, June 27: Post race beers in an Opti, Dinner, and live music
Wednesday, June 28: Post race beers in an Opti, discounted tickets to Cedar Point (Buy Tickets HERE! Choose after 4pm Option)
Thursday, June 29: Post race beers in an Opti with light snacks, Free night on Sandusky
Friday, June 30: Post race beers in an Opti hosted by SCIRA USA - General Membership meeting at the Keg, Dinner, and live music
Saturday, July 1: Post race beers in an Opti, Dinner, and live music (Yacht Club attire suggested - blue blazers, cocktail dress, button down shirt, etc.)
Other Helpful Information:
- Book accommodations in advance. Summer is a busy time of year for Sandusky for tourism
- CHILDCARE: Youth learn-to-sail progrms are availavle during the week: https://www.sailsandusky.org/programs/youth-learn-to-sail
- Other programs availavle during the week at SSC https://www.sailsandusky.org/programs
- Camping is allowed at SSC for $20/night per tent/Camper/Van, etc. There is no electricity or water hook up for vehicles.
- Dog boarding: Dogs are allowed on leash at SSC. If you need dog boarding resources, please reach out to nextgensnipesailing@gmail.com for more information.
- We want you at nationals! If there's anything that we haven't thought of to get you to attend, let us know!
