Event Details:

When: May 4-5, 2024

Where: Shore Acres Yacht Club, 780 Drum Point Road, Brick, NJ 08723

Fleets: Melges 15

Registration fee: $100

Housing: We will attempt to house sailors, please request housing during registration if it's something you're interested in!

Storage: SAYC can store boats after the Toms River M15 event one week prior. If you need to store a boat between events, please contact James Byrne

Schedule (7 races planned):

Saturday

• 9:30-10:30 On Shore Registration, Breakfast
• 10:30 Competitors' Meeting
• 11:15 First Warning Signal
• Club is hosting a Kentucky Derby Party in the evening that all sailors and guests are welcome to attend! There will be contests for best hat and best dressed. Entry is free. Cash kitchen and bar will be open.

Sunday

• 9:30 Breakfast
• 11:00 First Warning Signal
• No race will start after 3:00 on Sunday
• Awards to follow racing, club bar and kitchen will be open.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome on the Shore Acres Yacht Club grounds. We have ample patio and deck seating facing the prospective sailing venue. Spectators are also encouraged to bring their own spectator boats. Shore Acres Yacht Club has a large beach, a small ramp, and a one-ton hoist for launching and abundant bulkhead space for pre- and post-race docking. Additional ramp launching options and a gas dock are available for purchase through our neighborhood marina Drum Point Marina.
