It's time to get excited for our

FAVORITE REGATTA OF THE YEAR!!!

This regatta is meant to get Moms on the water with their kids for a fun day of racing right in Chicken Cove. Kids skipper, Moms crew. Moms with multiple kid sailors can switch off as they please, or go 3 up if you like!

Moms have supported their sailors from the docks for years and we want them to experience the thrill of racing in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Moms - no experience neccessary. Kids - C2 fleet and up racers. We'll have a brief land demo for our Moms to cover the basics.

There'll be mimosas, chocolates, strawberries and more on land for your enjoyment between races! Ask anyone who was at our past events, this is a day you'll remember:)

• "Littles" for kid skippers in Sabot C2+ or Middle School age.
• "Bigs" for kid skippers in high school.
• "College+" for "kid" skippers in college and beyond.
• For Moms with multiple skippers, their boat will be scored in the division corresponding with their oldest child.
• Boat are provided.
• Sail #s will be assigned on the day of the event.
• Awards to top 5 Moms in "littles" fleet and top 3 in "bigs" fleet and top "college+" boat.
• Top MBYC mom/kid teams in each division will go on the "Debbie Wright Memorial" Perpetual.
• Other clubs welcome!!

More details for our Mom's Day Regatta:

• Check-in at 10:30am at the Junior Office.
• Photos taken of Moms and Kids around 10:30am
• Kids will rig, launch and dock the boats.
• Moms boathandling land-demo at 11am.
• First Race at 12pm.
• Littles will start first. After that we will rotate after every race, alternating Littles and Bigs/College+. 
• 3-4 races for each fleet. 
• Drinks and snacks between races.
