Tina Doufekias Junior Sailing Scholarship Fund Race

Running, Walking, or Paddleboarding races help fund the Tina Doufekias Junior Sailing Scholarship Fund.

 
The HYC Regatta Committee is excited to present the 2nd Annual
Tina Doufekias Junior Sailing  Scholarship Fund Race

To raise the money, we will offer a charity race with three divisions:
1.    Running:  Twice around Glen Island Park (4 miles)
2.    Walking:  Once around Glen Island Park (2 miles)
3.    Paddleboarding:  Along the shore on the rowing course (2 miles)
4.    Kayaking: Along the shore on the rowing course (2 miles)
Each division is split:  "16 and under" and "17 and older."

JUNIOR SAILING PADDLEBOARDS AVAILABLE FOR RENT FOR EVENT.

• The date is Sunday, September 10th at 1000.
  
  
• Lunch and snacks will be served after the race.
• The entry fee is $50.00 plus any money the competitors raise.
  
  
• The entry fee for kids HALF OFF (use discount code UNDER17 at time of entry.)
  
  
• The entry deadline is September 6, 2023, at midnight.  After that, adult entry is $75.00
  
  
• Paddleboards will be available for rent at $50.00 each, first come, first serve
  
  
• Prizes will be awarded to each class's first, second, and third finishers.
