HYC–ILCA Team Race Clinic

Entry can be made either with pre-established 3-boat teams, or you can enter individually and we will put you in a competitive team.  

We will contact you after entry if it is unclear.  Teams will be indicated on scratch sheet by Nationality.

• April 7th - come out and try out another racing format: 3x3 team race.

     This format is closer to match race than fleet racing and it is used for college sailing.

     This will be a clinic regatta with 1 hour of class ahore to teach everyone the basics.

     Then we will launch the round-robin on water.

     Everyone should be familair with RRS Appendix D Team Racing Rules, which are somewhat different.

• There is a maximum of 6 teams  (18 sailors total.)

• All sailors will race with ILCA 6 / Radial rigs.

• There will be 3 on the water Judge Boats – Please let us know if you would like to be a judge.

• There will be 2 RC boats, one for starts and one for finishes – Please let us know if you would like to volenteer on RC.
