Hello Junior Sailors!

We are going to try this again... ROUND TWO: NEW REGATTA DATE, Thursday, August 12th!!

Please be sure to register online by 6PM on Wednesday, August 11th. Registration will be closed the morning of the Regatta.

The WHYC c420 Regatta will be entirely on-water! Please see the outline below for full event details as well as the Sailing Instructions. Please be sure to download and read over the SI in their entirety, to ensure full comprehension of the event. Should you have any questions about the event, please contact us at whycjrsailing@gmail.com

RACE SCHEDULE:

9:30- 10:00AM - On-water check in to Race Committee WATCH DOG
Visiting Coaches: please confirm all sailors’ sail numbers during this window. Visiting Coaches: please pick up their team’s participation award during this window.

10:15AM - First Race shall commence at this time.
Postponements will be made known from Race Committee. One race shall constitute a regatta.

12:00-12:30AM -Approximate time for on water lunch break. Lunch will NOT be provided. Please be sure to bring your own *NUT FREE lunch.

12:45PM - Races shall recommence approximately at this time.

3:30PM- No race shall begin after this time.

4:00PM On-water Awards Ceremony off WATCH DOG
Trophies will be given out honoring: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place. Trophies will be delivered to your coach boat.

Please note:

At this time, the WHYC is maintaining this event as an “on-water” regatta only. The WHYC and WHYC dock will remain closed during the time of the regatta, except for emergency usage (ie bathroom, etc), rigging and derigging. When rigging and derigging, unvaccinated sailors and visitors must wear a face covering. A face covering is also required when inside the yacht club. If you cannot travel by water to come to the event, please contact us at whycjrsailing@gmail.com to coordinate parking passes.
