Club 420 Regatta #2 @ Conanicut

We are looking forward to hosting NBYA’s second 420 regatta next week on August 9-10!

A few quick notes:

Arrival
Boats are welcome to arrive by water on Tuesday, 8/8, at any time.
Trailers are welcome before 4 pm or after 8 pm. Tuesday night racing is popular at CYC and space will be too tight to accommodate trailers between 4-8.

Trailer storage
Please email Meg if you are bringing a trailer and it will be staying on site. We will do our best to accommodate all requests on site, we may need to move a few to an offsite location. If that happens, all trailers will be brough back on site by 2 pm on Thursday, August 10. Please let us know the size of your trailer (can tell us how many boats it can accommodate at maximum capacity as a way to explain the size.)

Powerboat Moorings
Please let us know if your boat needs a mooring overnight. We need to know boat size and when it is arriving – Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Food
Pizza will be available Wednesday after sailing.
Ice cream sandwiches and freeze pops will be given out after racing on Thursday.

Official Notice Board
The official notice board will be located outside the CYC junior sailing room, hung up against the building, facing west.

Notices made ashore
Notices made ashore will be posted on the official notice board and any online signals/flags will be flown on the from the CYC flag pole located centrally on the CYC waterfront.

Marks
Marks are bright orange tomato marks. The change mark has a large black stripe.

Protest Desk and Location of Hearings
The protest desk will be the CYC Junior Sailing office, located in the CYC junior room, under the back porch. The location of hearings will likely be on the CYC porch. Any changes to that location will be communicated to all parties.

Bathrooms
CYC has bathrooms outside of the clubhouse, near the back walkway of the clubhouse. Please use these bathrooms.

Parking and Miscellaneous Information
If you are staying for the day, please park near the back of the CYC parking lot to allow closer spots for our older members.

Thursday Night
CYC will hold their annual meeting starting at 5 pm. Our goal is to have everyone off the water, packed up, and gone by this time. BUT, if you are still packing up, please try to keep your things contained to one small area.
