Watch Hill Yacht Club will be hosting a two-day Team Race Clinic on August 14-15th with former Stanford University and US Coast Guard Academy Coach Brian Swingly.
This clinic is geared toward experienced Club 420 sailors, who are looking to expand into Team Racing. Sailors with some, little, or no Team Racing experience will gain a solid foundation of Team Racing through:
- Classroom discussions
- On-the-water drills
- Practice races
Sailors may register as a team, as a boat, or individually! Coaches are welcome to attend with their sailors. We request that you bring your own boat for the event. Boats are welcome to stay overnight at the WHYC for the duration of the Clinic.
**Priority to full teams; also welcome sailors/clubs who can't field a full team but want to be matched up!!
Be sure to register early! This clinic has limited availability.
EACH MEMBER (skipper / crew / individual) MUST SUBMIT THEIR OWN REGISTRATION.
Registration deadline: August 14th
Capped: 10 teams (waitlist will be implemented after capacity is reached)
