Miramar Madness

The Miramar Madness Regatta is almost here!!

This is a buoy racecourse set on Miramar Bay, North of the Venetian Causeway West (see location) – known as the "Miramar course". The Race will start with a first warning signal at 10:25 AM. MYC will provide 2 support boats to help sailors through the Venetian West Bridge, and safety boats to monitor the racecourse and other watercraft in the area.  All racing expected to end prior to 14:30, so that competitors can pass through the Venetian Causeway bridge.

Cats are welcome to rig and stay on the MYC beach starting Friday 3/07. Parking for cars and/or trailers will be arranged at the Jungle Island parking lot at reduced rates (please contact the MYC Manager Jeff Timmons @ gm@miamiyachtclub.com).

Entries should be submitted on https://theclubspot.com/ Entry fee is $45 for single crew - $55 for double crew, $35 for youth teams.

Final registration deadline is March 2nd at 11:59 PM! No exceptions.

Awards ceremony and party at the MYC Saturday 3/9, starting at 17:30

NOTE ON THE VENETIAN CAUSEWAY BRIDGE (WEST): 

Please plan accordingly and get to the Venetian Causeway Bridge West prior to its scheduled opening 10:30. We will have ONE safety boat able to tow multihulls who are in need of assistance, but you should not expect to be towed through the bridge.
