As we say goodbye to 2022, we are looking forward to another Ice Bowl at SSA! The 2023 Ice Bowl Regatta is an annual event held by the Severn Sailing Association on New Year’s Day. The Ice Bowl course is to sail up the Severn River, to a turning mark in Round Bay with keel boats rounding St Helenas Island (direction optional) and small boats rounding the turning mark to sail back to and finish at the club. Trophies or prizes are up to each individual fleet participating. After completion of the race, a social event will be held at the club house.
