6/27/24 - Self Selecting into the Wells Series

Snipe Nationals Competitors- 

Since we have not met the criteria for a mandatory split for the Heinzerling and Wells as outlined in section 5 of the Notice of Race, we are allowing competitors at places 33-46 to self-select to transfer to the Wells Series beginning on Thursday. For any comeptitor wishing to make this switch, there will be a signup sheet posted on the notice board at Jubilee YC. If you wish to make this choice, you must indicate on the signup sheet between 9-10 am Friday morning. If you select to do this, your scores from the first two days of racing will be voided and you will start the Wells series for Friday and Saturday with others who have selected only to sail the Wells series.

Note, all Heinzerling and Wells competitors will start at the same time, but will be scored separately.

For planning purposes, please observe the following schedule:

1. Late fee is applied for registration done after May 22 (does not apply to Junior teams).
2. Measurement and check-in is on Tuesday, June 25.
3. Registration closes at the end of the day on June 25.
4. Racing is Wednesday June 26-Saturday June 29.

Note: The skipper AND crew must be members of SCIRA to register. Clubspot will check this during the registration process. Breaking News: US Snipe Nationals coming back to Jubilee Yacht Club

June 25 – 29, 2024, Beverly MA

Greetings to Snipe Sailors,

We are in the game again since hosting the Snipe North Americans in 2021. Are you still in the game and ready for serious racing and serious fun? Those of you who attended the Nationals in 2019 and North Americans in 2021 know how great a venue we have for regattas.

And we are very happy to announce that Quantum Sails (www.quantumsails.com) will be our title sponsor (they also were at the Nationals in 2019) – we thank them very much for participating again!

The NOR will be available and registration will open early in 2024. Anyone registering before May 22 will save $$s! And stay tuned over the next few months for other news and offers for this event.
