Make-A-Wish is a charity regatta raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. This foundation offers children with terminal illnesses an opportunity to have an excursion or experience of their choosing, free of charge to the family. These moral-boosting and memory making trips are highlights throughout very tough times for these families. The participants in this regatta receive pledge sheets to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation, and PWYC provides prizes for those who have raised the most money.
