JSA Feva Champs - Stamford Yacht Club

Hello and welcome RS Feva Competitors to Stamford Yacht Club. 

Registration for the JSA of LIS RS Feva Championship Fleet will be limited to those sailors who have qualified by sailing in a prior JSA Feva qualifier event as described in JSA Rule 4.1.3. These include Eastern or Western Districts, Larchmont Race Week, Shelter Island Feva, Rye Rumble, and Huguenot events. 

Prior to racing, instructors shall email a roster of their club with sailor’s names, sail number, and their contact information to sailingdirector@stamfordyc.com

Key Points:

• Visiting support vessels cannot be launched at SYC; arrival must be by water. Hail SYC on channel 72 for accommodation at the dock or on a mooring. 
• Visiting Fevas please see Dropoff Instructions.
• A Designated Safety Instructor (DSI) from each club must be assigned for each day.
• Notice of Race (NOR) and Sailing Instructions (SI) will be posted online and on the front door of the Sailing Office behind the pool and next to the Pool Office. In the spirit of reducing waste, paper copies of SI and NOR will not be provided to each sailing competitor. For the day of the race please download NOR & SI to your mobile device or print a copy.  
• Lunch WILL NOT be provided by SYC. Hot dogs and watermelon will be served after racing on Friday and ice cream will be served after racing on Saturday.

Z Sails is sponsoring 2 sail bags that we will be raffling at the awards ceremony. The sailor must be in person to win.
