Waldo Cup @ Head of the Bay - Opti Area A

There is no on-site launching for coach boats. Please either plan to come by water or launch your boat at the Town of Huntington Boat ramp located on Mill Dam Road in Huntington, NY. If you choose to launch your boat at the ramp, allow 30 minutes of travel time from the ramp to The Head of the Bay Club. 

There is limited dock space for coach boats. We request all coach boats bunk up on the windward side of the dock at least 3 or 4 deep (weather conditions permitting). Clear space on the dock must be available for Race Committee and member use. 

All Optmists and Sailors must bring their boats to the beach for safety inspection - do not tie Optimists to moorings, the dock or anchor them inside or outside the mooring field for any reason.  

The Racing Area is immediately north of the beach and club. If attending guests wish to make a lunch reservation and watch the racing, please call the main club house: 631.427.5555
