Welcome to the Annual Spring Regatta at Carolina Yacht Club

Good morning, Sailors!

We’re excited to welcome you to Carolina Yacht Club this weekend for our Annual Spring Regatta. The forecast is looking promising, and we’re anticipating a fantastic few days on the water.

This week has marked a significant milestone for our Club. As of yesterday, we officially reopened our Boathouse restaurant, which has been undergoing extensive renovations for the past year and a half. Our Membership has been eagerly awaiting this moment, and the excitement surrounding the grand opening has been tremendous.

With that in mind, we want to ensure a smooth and enjoyable weekend for everyone. Please take note of the following guidelines, which are in place to help accommodate both our visiting sailors and our Membership during this special time:

• Shower Facilities: The first-floor showers are not yet operational. However, these areas are available for changing clothes if needed.
• Restrooms: Primary restroom access is on the second level. Additional restrooms are also available in the South Property foyer (enter through the double doors of the southern-most building).
• Beverage Service: A bar will be set up on the first level of the Boathouse and will be available for credit card purchases.
• Dining: At this time, dining at the Boathouse is limited to CYC Members only. We are also not currently offering to-go meals, as our focus is on accommodating in-person dining for our Membership.

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this exciting yet transitional period for the Club. We do not anticipate these measures to be necessary during future visits.

We’re looking forward to a fantastic regatta weekend and are so glad to have you with us.
