2024 Governor's Cup Race

NOTICE: Awards ceremony presented in the downstairs patio at VYC as soon as possible after racing. In conjunction with the awards, VYC will host a "Burn Your Own Burger" function for all racers and their guests. 

The Governor's Cup is Ventura County's oldest yacht race first deeded on June 12, 1963 to VYC. This race is open to current members of recognized yacht clubs. A Random Leg Course of at least 18 miles for each class will be chosen from the course chart in the Sailing Instructions.  EXCEPTION: The PRO has the authority to select a shorter race if the conditions warrant for any or all the classes.
